Partner & Listing Policy

This policy applies to every business, tour operator, guide, resort, restaurant or service provider (each a “Partner”) that lists on the Bay of Bapatla Platform. It forms part of the Terms of Service. Governed by the laws of India. Last updated: 15 August 2026.

1. Who May List

Any legitimate business operating in or serving the Bapatla / Suryalanka region may apply to list on the Platform. To list, you must:

  • Be an authorised representative of the business and able to bind it.
  • Provide a valid Indian mobile number, verified by OTP.
  • Provide accurate business information, including name, category, description, location, contact details and opening hours.
  • Upload at least one genuine photograph of your business. Stock, placeholder or mock images are not permitted on live listings.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, registrations and licences for the goods or services you offer (including GST, FSSAI or other licences where applicable).

2. Listing Accuracy

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of your listing. Listings must not be misleading, and must reflect your real business:

  • Prices, availability, opening hours, location and contact details must be current. Update your listing promptly when they change.
  • Photographs must be of your actual business, products or premises. Do not use images belonging to others without permission.
  • Do not make claims you cannot substantiate, and do not misrepresent your category, location or the services you offer.
  • In line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, your listing discloses your business name, address, contact details and, where applicable, the country of origin of the products you sell.
  • The first photo you upload becomes your card image on the Platform.

3. Verification & the Verified Badge

The Verified badge is enabled only after you upload business proof documents (such as GST, FSSAI, shop licence or a valid government identity document) and an authorised member of the Platform team approves them. Approval is at our discretion and may be revoked if your documents are found to be invalid, expired or unrelated to your business.

  • Documents you upload are used only for verification and are not shown publicly.
  • We may remove the Verified badge if your listing is found to contain false or misleading information.

4. Content Standards & Prohibited Listings

Your listing and communications must not contain or promote:

  • Goods or services prohibited by Indian law, including counterfeit, smuggled or otherwise unlawful items.
  • Content that is obscene, defamatory, hateful, harassing, discriminatory or infringing of third-party rights.
  • Misleading claims, fake reviews, or incentives for customers to post positive reviews (prohibited under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019).
  • Competing contact details or links designed to take customers off the Platform in a way that circumvents Platform terms.
  • Any content that violates the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder.

5. Bookings, Payments & Payouts

Payments for bookings made through the Platform are collected by a licensed payment aggregator and settled to you in accordance with the payout terms displayed in your owner dashboard. The Platform may deduct a platform fee or commission, which will be disclosed before you confirm a payout arrangement.

  • You must honour confirmed bookings at the price, date and time agreed.
  • If you cannot fulfil a booking, cancel it promptly and assist the customer with a refund as described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
  • Payout details (bank or UPI) you provide must be accurate and belong to your business. The Platform is not liable for errors caused by incorrect payout details.
  • Earnings are subject to applicable tax obligations; you are responsible for your own tax compliance.

6. Partner Conduct

Partners must treat customers, other partners and Platform staff with fairness and respect. This includes delivering services as described, honouring bookings, responding to enquiries and reviews, and maintaining hygiene, safety and quality standards appropriate to the business.

  • Do not discriminate against customers on grounds prohibited by Indian law.
  • Do not misuse customer contact details obtained through the Platform. When you receive a customer's name or phone number to fulfil a booking, you are a data fiduciary for that data: use it only for the booking, protect it, and comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
  • Report any safety incident promptly to support@bayofbapatla.com.

7. Suspension & Removal

We may suspend, flag or remove a listing — with or without notice — if it violates this Policy, the Terms of Service, or applicable law; if it receives substantiated complaints; or if we reasonably believe it poses a risk to users or the Platform. Where feasible, we will notify you and give you an opportunity to rectify the issue.

  • Flagged or suspended listings may be restored once the issue is resolved to our satisfaction.
  • Persistent violations may lead to permanent removal and forfeiture of pending payouts in cases of fraud or abuse, subject to applicable law.
  • You may remove your listing at any time from your owner dashboard; refunds owed to customers remain your responsibility.

8. Partner Liability & Indemnity

You are responsible for the goods and services you supply and for your compliance with all applicable laws. You agree to indemnify the Operator against claims arising from your listing, your goods or services, your employees or agents, or your breach of this Policy, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in this Policy limits a consumer's rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

9. Changes & Contact

We may update this Policy from time to time; the current version will always be available on this page. For questions about your listing or this Policy, write to support@bayofbapatla.com.
